Mr Yang Huang - General and Breast Surgeon
Clinical practice:
Dr Yang Huang is a Specialist General Surgeon with main focus in oncoplastic breast surgery. He currently holds a public breast surgery consultant position at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and operates across various sites including Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Osborne Park Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus.
Background and Training
Dr Yang Huang completed his general surgery training in WA and then undertook four years of fellowship in breast cancer surgery in high-volume centres, including Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne and Westmead Breast Cancer Institute in Sydney.
Research
Dr Huang is passionate about providing evidence-based, individualised, patient-centred care with a comprehensive multidisciplinary team approach. He has contributed to several peer-reviewed articles and is involved in clinical trials. Dr Huang is actively teaching medical students, junior medical staff, general surgical trainees and BreastSurgANZ fellows. He is a full member of BreastSurgANZ, Breast Cancer Trials Australia and the Australasian Society of Breast Diseases

Dr Shyue Xian (Joshua) Chong - Geriatrician & Perioperative Physician
Dr Joshua Chong is a Specialist Geriatrician & Perioperative Physician. He graduated from Monash University and completed her specialist training at a number of Western Australia hospitals including Royal Perth Hospital, Bentley Hospital and Bunbury Hospital. Dr Chong has also completed a diploma in palliative medicine.
His area of interest includes assessment and management of cognitive changes, falls and balance, Parkinson's disease, pre-operative and post operative care.
He has public appointment in Bentley and Royal Perth Hospital. He also has admitting rights to St John of God Subiaco Hospital.

Dr Ko Ko Lin Thaw - General & Cardiovascular Physician
Dr Thaw is a general medicine and cardiovascular physician varse experience trained in Malaysia and Western Australia. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom.
Dr Thaw focuses on patient-centred care and provides a comprehensive assessment and management of all aspects of acute and chronic complex medical issues.
His areas of interest include acute medicine, perioperative medicine and managing medical patients with chronic and complex issues.
Dr Thaw works part time in Fiona Stanley Hospital and provides locum services in St John of God Bunbury Hospital. He welcomes all new and past patients, offering mixed billing or bulk billing.
